The interplay of light and shadow in the painting mirrors the delicate balance of emotion in the nocturne, with the soft glow of candlelight representing the warmth and intimacy of a quiet evening. The light dances across the canvas, creating a serene and almost dreamlike atmosphere, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in the tranquility of the moment.
