Inspired by a conversation with my uncle, world-renowned conductor Misha Rachlevsky, “Crescendo” reflects the dynamic interplay of sound and color.
 
The painting’s color palette, influenced by Misha’s concert program based on the concept of Chromesthesia, evokes the emotional impact of music through deep blues and vibrant yellow-orange hues. The composition is inspired by dramatic sunsets Misha shared with me, symbolizing the struggle between dark forces and the triumph of light, hope, and resilience. The colors almost leap off the canvas, creating a three-dimensional effect that embodies the powerful transformation from darkness to light.
