That magical moment when daylight slips into dusk, where the sky transforms into a rich mosaic of colors. The canvas is drenched in a tapestry of deep cerulean blues that fade seamlessly into twilight purples and soft turquoise undertones—elegant, enveloping hues that pull you into the evening’s quiet breath. This piece is a reflection of nature's daily spectacle—a reminder of the beauty found in transitions and the promise each evening holds.
A key element of this piece is its rich surface texture.

Before a single stroke of color goes on, I build up the canvas’s tactile underlayer, creating peaks and valleys that peek through the topcoat of paint. This hidden relief lends the painting its woven, almost textile-like quality, inviting you to trace your fingers across its ridges (in your mind, at least!) and feel the cool wash of color flowing over an undulating landscape.

Viewed horizontally, these ridges and drips can resemble melting candle wax, with hues cascading in rivulets down the canvas.
Rotate Twilight Tapestry 90 degrees, and the same forms and hues may evoke a serene pond at dusk, with ripples of blue and violet drifting beneath a turquoise sky. This simple shift in perspective invites an entirely new experience—reminding us that art, and nature, are full of surprises when we choose to look differently.
