Dor L’Dor” is a Hebrew phrase meaning “from generation to generation,” a quiet acknowledgment of what is carried forward through time—stories, memories, melodies, tradition.
Dor L’Dor rThis diptych traces the flow of memory like a quiet, enduring melody—rust, cobalt, and soft fractures echoing the songs carried through generations, still resonant beneath the erosion of time.
Weathered textures, rusted tonalities, and soft atmospheric veils echo the resilience of melodies carried quietly through time. Cobalt notes and fractured lines rise and fall like a wordless song — an inheritance held in the body, the breath, and the spaces time cannot erase.
This diptych was built in layers over many days, allowing each stage to cure and settle before the next emerged. The result is a richly textured surface with depth, light, and subtle movement — a work that shifts with the room and time of day.
